Instructions for reviving a slender-billed curlew (Media work, 2022)

Instructions for reviving a slender-billed curlew is a piece of code written in SuperCollider, an audio-focused programming environment. The code generates an artificial birdsong mimicking a slender-billed curlew. The work was on display as part of Valoa ja virtaa - Dimensio 50 vuotta at Tampere Art Museum in 2022.

Version 2.0 was made for group exhibition Kietoumia – Entanglements in Porvoo in november 2023. This version added a six-channel ~11 minute piece of electronic music to the work:
