Avian Electronics | Time Runner

Avian Electronics | Time Runner was a sound installation for 14 loudspeakers, 2 subwoofers and synthetic sound - a 30-minute loop depicting the repeating rise and fall of species and ecosystems. It was essentially an extended surround sound version of the material that makes up Scene II - Generations on the Avian Electronics II album.
Time Runner was on display 13.7.-14.8.2022 in the music hall of Cultural Center Stoa in eastern Helsinki.
The history of life on earth is a series of biodiversity peaks followed by mass extinctions.
