Signals in C# Minor was a soundscape concert for live electronics on 22.8.2021. Preparing for the concert I visited the hill and listened to the grasshoppers stridulating over there. Like most times, I also added some synthetic insect-like chirping sounds to the material I played. The day after the concert I unpacked my instruments and found a dead grasshopper inside my modular synthesizer case. We can be hopelessly destructive even when we don't mean to be.
